Happy Holidays from #radonc Journal Club!

Thank you to all the participants in our first four chats. It’s been a great beginning to the radiation oncology journal club – we have had over 150 unique participants from around the world join us in discussing important topics in cancer care.

We did look into a December chat, but the timing (usually 3rd Friday-Sunday of the month) was not ideal and we had difficulty finding an author willing to discuss on Twitter during the holidays. We do plan to resume with a new topic January 23rd 2015.

In trying to find articles, we can always use your help. If you have a good article for the Radiation Nation community to share, here is what we are usually looking for:

• Important clinical topic related to treatment, supportive care, education, professional development, safety, or quality care;
• At least one author is willing to participate as a discussant on Twitter;
• Provides the #radonc community an opportunity to discuss the topic and share their experience to improve our knowledge.
