We didn’t have our monthly #radonc journal club as planned this month. So it seemed like a good opportunity for feedback.
What can we do better to bring the global radiation oncology community together?
I want to know what we can do to make the journal club work better. We changed the format. We couldn’t continue doing a 63-hour discussion with quality moderation every month. I know we can do better. With your feedback, we may be able to find a way to offer CME/CPD credits.
Journal clubs aren’t the only way to bring us together. So I want to hear what you think will be the best ways to improve cancer care and highlight how radiation medicine fits into that process.
Recently, I gave a talk at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I believe we can find new ways to collaborate, educate and motivate the global cancer community to help others, and ourselves. That is why I started Radiation Nation: one purpose, many voices.
The best ideas may come from any of us. What do you think we can do to improve cancer care? What ways can we work together to make it happen? Please share your ideas on how to improve the journal club, and what we can do next.
