Matthew Katz is a board certified radiation oncologist practicing at Lowell General Hospital in Lowell, Massachusetts. He returned to the Boston area after his training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center to join the staff at Massachusetts General Hospital before going into community practice in 2004. He was an Instructor at Harvard Medical School 2003-2014.
Involved in social media since 2006, Matt served as Chair of Communications for the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) and as an external advisor for the Mayo Clinic Center for Social Media. He currently serves on committees for the American Society for Clinical Oncology and Massachusetts Medical Society.
