For our June #radonc journal club we will discuss the role of chemotherapy in low grade glioma, a specific type of brain tumor. Temozolomide became standard with radiation for glioblastoma in the mid-2000s. Does chemotherapy improve outcomes in less aggressive gliomas? We will review the long-term results of randomized clinical trial RTOG 98-02.
